Is it a problem if semen leaks out of the vagina after sex?

1 min read

No, it is not a problem. After ejaculation, sperm quickly travel up through the cervix, uterus, and into the Fallopian tubes, where fertilization may occur.

The semen that leaks out contains mostly sperm that were not strong or fast enough to migrate, along with other fluids. This leakage is completely normal and does not reduce the chances of conception.

General information, not a diagnosis: talk to your doctor about your own situation.
